The AIIM Best Practices Award, encompassing all of North America and Europe, was established to recognize innovative applications of document and/or process management technologies to solve critical business requirements. This specific group of e-based products called "Western-Southern eTerm" was developed for marketing on multiple web sites, the most noteworthy being InsWeb, Quicken Insurance and QuoteSmith. These insurance "mall" services for Internet shoppers allow them to view policies, compare costs and assess ratings of various insurance providers.
