Optical Image Technology and Penn State To Co-present at CBICC Workshop
Workshop will be hosted as part of the CBICC Chamber’s “U”niversity Series
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – March 4, 2005 – Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT) and The Pennsylvania State University’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations are announcing a workshop to be offered as part of the CBICC, Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County’s, Chamber “U”niversity series. The workshop will take place on March 16 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the CBICC Board Room at 200 Innovation Boulevard in State College, Pa. The focus of the workshop is technologies available for automating business processes and managing information effectively.
Mark Rudloff, Senior Systems Analyst at PSU, will share ideas about evaluating business procedures and preparing for automation, focusing on the successful implementation of automated workflow at PSU’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations. “By integrating imaging and workflow technologies into our current business process, we have significantly enhanced our ability to process gifts to the university,” Rudloff said.
Also presenting at the workshop will be OIT’s President, Scott Buchart. Buchart will outline technologies that are available to businesses and will present software that enables businesses of every size and industry to monitor business performance and plan intelligently for the future.
“Small, medium, and large businesses all benefit from the cost, time, and space savings that this technology brings to the table,” Buchart said. “We look forward to sharing this knowledge with local businesses that are helping Centre County to move forward.”
The seminar is ideal for management, CEO’s, COO’s, and CIO’s in all types of industries who are interested in learning more about options available for automating their processes.
