Optical Image Technology Announces Two Additions to DocFinity® Suite of Products
New products will assist organizations in better leveraging applications
February 17, 2004 – State College, Pa. – Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT), developer of the award-winning DocFinity Suite of Products, is proud to introduce the DocFinity Dashboard and DocFinity Reports modules. These new products are designed to enhance an organization’s ability to observe system performance and critical functions related to user logons, databases, application status, executables, drive space and event logs.

The DocFinity Dashboard allows system administrators to monitor overall system status, at a glance, from a Web browser. Throughout the day, the software will take readings of the system and indicate whether or not everything is functioning properly. If there is a problem in the system, the screen will turn red. The program also has the ability to alert administrators if a pre-programmed critical error is detected. In this event, the system can automatically e-mail, call or page administrators, ensuring a timely correction to the error.
The DocFinity Reports module provides administrators the ability to receive real time statistics related to system performance through a standard Web browser. This allows for a quick and easy solution to monitor the status of critical system functions, including workflow, user and database functions. The DocFinity Reports module includes pre-built reporting tools that can automatically generate reports in real time. Information gathered by the DocFinity Reports module is then presented to administrators in a graphical format.
