OIT Announces the Release of its New DocFinity® Document Portal Module

(OIT), developer of the award-winning DocFinity Suite of Document Management Software, announces the release of its new DocFinity Document Portal module, designed to provide a “Virtual Office” from which users and business teams can view all the information that is pertinent to performing day-to-day job functions.
The DocFinity Document Portal is a web-based front-end that combines the business desktop and document management facilities into a single user view. The portal maintains individual user profiles to collate, organize, and present relevant information without the user having to switch between applications. The DocFinity Document Portal view may include links to documents, preferred reports, tasks from the DocFinity Workflow module, e-mail, and content from other business applications including the Office Suite. In addition, the DocFinity Document Portal provides facilities for collaboration between teams and business parties via discussion and chat forums, private e-mail, shared documentation including revision control, calendaring, and scheduling.
