Fuji Xerox Australia Signs on as OIT Certified Business Partner

STATE COLLEGE, PA: Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT), the leading provider of integrated Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), announced that Fuji Xerox Australia has signed on to be an OIT Certified Business Partner (CBP).

Fuji Xerox Australia, a joint venture between Fuji Photo Film Co. of Japan and Xerox, Limited, was established in 1960 and is headquartered in Sydney, Australia. The Australian operation employs more that 1,400 people and is one of the key Xerox operations in Asia and the South Pacific.

Ray Plant, Business Manager for Fuji Xerox Australia, said that OIT software is a natural extension of their document-based business and will be instrumental in the company's future plans which includes creating documents that can be viewed online.

"In order to maintain and grow our customer base, we need to sell and support this type of solution," Plant said. "Not only do we print the document, we must also present it for viewing, storage, retrieval and enable distribution electronically via online sources, fax and e-mail, which is where OIT comes in."
