OIT Announces Partnership with K-PAR Archiving Software, Inc.

STATE COLLEGE, PA: Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT), provider of award-winning document management solutions, announces the formation of a Strategic Alliance Agreement with K-PAR Archiving Software, Inc. to bring customers an enhanced file management system.

K-PAR Archiving Software develops the Archive Management product known as Archimedia, a hierarchical storage management (HSM) system designed to provide all the functionality needed to drive a CD, CDR, DVD, or Optical library system as a long term archive device. The OIT software depends on HSM as an important software link between OIT products and jukebox systems or any other mass storage media. As more jukebox systems and mass storage media are installed in organizations across the globe, the need for reliable HSM consistently increases.

"Under this new alliance, OIT will be working with K-PAR to integrate at common customer sites, and engage in joint sales and marketing activities to deliver an integrated, powerful solution," explains Scott Buchart, President of OIT. "The alliance will create an experienced resource of information that customers and prospective customers can rely on to help make their document management systems even more efficient."
