OIT Director to speak at NERCOMP 2005
Grier Yartz to give session on Workflow Technologies
STATE COLLEGE, Pa – March 4, 2005 – Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT) is pleased to announce that their Director of Sales, C. Grier Yartz will be delivering a presentation at the upcoming NERCOMP 2005 Annual Conference. The conference is being held at Worcester 's DCU Center (Digital Federal Credit Union, formerly Worcester's Centrum Centre Arena and Convention Complex) in Worcester , Mass. from March 6th through the 8th.
The theme for the 2005 NERCOMP conference is "A Sea of Choices: Charting the Course for Your Institution." The conference is intended to help in different areas higher education; creating the opportunity for learning, sharing, and connecting with others in the field.
Yartz’s presentation, “Achieving Organizational Efficiency through Automated Workflow,” will be given on Tuesday, March 8th at 1pm . The presentation will be given in meeting room D, on level 3. It will focus on the benefits of using automated workflow and how it helps higher education institutions. The presentation will give detailed information on how moving, sharing, and processing documents electronically creates efficiency and accuracy for offices.

Yartz has been giving presentations about document management and how it can benefit organizations since he became the director of sales for OIT in 1998. He has presented at XPLOR and also been on panel discussions for conferences such as AIIM and others. Since joining OIT, Yartz has helped clients in the United States , United Kingdom , South Korea , and other places to choose successful systems for electronic document management. He has a strong background in imaging, reports management (COLD-ERM), automated workflow and integrating systems. Yartz was formerly the president of Nittany Imaging Systems in Erie , Pa. and also worked for Business Solutions Magazine, an electronic document management magazine.
