Optical Image Technology and Town and Country Computer Services Announce Joint Clients
Five Insurers Benefit from DocFinity® and INS PRO Integration
State College, PA – February 7, 2008 – State College-based Optical Image Technology (OIT) and Town and Country Computer Services, LLC based in Schenectady, New York, are pleased to announce five insurance companies that have joined the roster of companies using the integrated Town and Country INS PRO and OIT DocFinity software solution. The companies are based in Pennsylvania, New York, and Texas, and are leading the insurance industry with technology implementations that benefit their customers while contributing favorably to the environment. The integration of Town and Country’s insurance processing system (INS PRO) with DocFinity Web-based digital imaging, automated workflow, and Web services enables insurers to maximize paperless efficiency and provide cutting-edge customer services.
The customers, who have added DocFinity to their INS PRO software solution, include Farmers Mutual Insurance Company of Elizabethtown, PA; Ontario Insurance Company of Shortsville, NY; Central Co-operative Insurance Company of Baldwinsville, NY; Chautauqua Patrons’ Insurance Company of Jamestown, NY; and Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Association of Comal County in New Braunfels, TX. Town and Country’s INS PRO system and Optical Image Technology’s DocFinity products serve insurers throughout the United States.
The goal of the partnership, which began in 2005 with a collaborative project at Panhandle Farmers Mutual Insurance Company in West Virginia, is to help insurers compete successfully, grow their customer base, and build customer loyalty through outstanding service. The seamless integration of INS PRO and DocFinity helps these companies to eliminate redundancy and errors while engaging in environmentally sound business practices by making processes paperless. The quick return on investment experienced at Panhandle resulted in the adoption of the integrated solution by Friends Cove Mutual Insurance Company, Lehigh Mutual Insurance Company, Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance of McCandless Township, and Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Marble. All four insurers are headquartered in Pennsylvania.
