Buchart and Thumma to Present Session on Document Imaging and Workflow
Optical Image Technology, creator of the DocFinity suite of enterprise workflow and document management software, is pleased to announce that Scott Buchart, president, and Jim Thumma, vice president of sales and marketing, have been invited to give a presentation at the Metropolitan New York Chapter of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators’ (ARMA) All-Day Workshop on February 15, 2007. The presentation, entitled “Imaging Nitty Gritty”, will show attendees how they can revolutionize their business processes with document imaging and digital workflow.
Buchart and Thumma will use their document management expertise to provide a thorough overview of imaging and workflow technologies, and how these technologies are instrumental across a variety of industries and pertinent to records managers. Both gentlemen hold over 20 years of experience in document management and technology consulting on business processes. Recently, Buchart served on the national Enterprise Content Management Association’s (AIIM) conference planning committees and had a chapter published in the book, “Content Management Leadership Strategies: Top CEOs on Growth Strategies and the Future of Content Management Solutions.” Thumma currently serves on the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association’s (IASA) Technology Development Committee and the advisory board for the Pennsylvania Institute of Homeland and Defense Technologies.
The Metropolitan New York City Chapter of ARMA boasts approximately 350 records and informational management professionals as members. The organization is part of ARMA International, a non-profit organization known as the authority on managing records and information, which boosts over 11,000 members. This membership includes records managers, archivists, legal professionals and imaging specialists.
