OIT Module Addresses EDMS Needs of Pharmaceutical Industry

STATE COLLEGE, PA: Optical Image Technology Inc. (OIT) announces it will leverage the Total Solution for Document Management to address the document management needs of the Pharmaceutical Industry.

"Pharma-TS" offers companies in the Pharmaceutical Industry compelling Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) solutions, secure electronic workflow and encryption abilities that are in production at facilities compliant with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.

OIT's Encryption Server is a key part of the Pharma-TS module. It allows comments, such as "approved" or "rejected", to be applied to a file and enables secure storage of electronic signatures. Secure electronic signature storage is critical to achieving FDA standards.

Pharma-TS streamlines tasks such as the transferral of information among technical writers and editors and the prompt retrieval of records and data for review while increasing accuracy and accountability. OIT technology also aids in the strictly-governed quality assurance process.

The module can be modified to suit the EDMS needs of the particular company or organization.
