Optical Image Technology Adds Two New Members to the Technical Advisory Panel (TAP)

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina to Contribute to TAP

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – April 2, 2007– The Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) of Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT), creator of the DocFinity suite of enterprise workflow and document management software, is pleased to announce two new advisory members. Dan Hoover and Catherine Reid, both employed by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, will join fifteen experienced DocFinity customers and partners who provide valuable input into product development.

Dan Hoover, Team Leader of Work Management Systems, has been a user of the DocFinity system for two years. As stated by Hoover, “I am pleased to collaborate with other members of the DocFinity Technical Advisory Panel. By sharing experiences with one another, we are able to derive additional benefits from the product even if we represent different industries. In addition, TAP provides the opportunity to communicate directly with key people at OIT about our specific business challenges, in turn helping other customers.”

Also joining TAP from BlueCross is Catherine Reid, Application Development Manager of Workflow Management Systems, a position she began in October 2006. BlueCross offers a workflow solution built around DocFinity Workflow to multiple clients leveraging OIT’s software solutions. “This technology enables BlueCross to offer clients an automated workflow management solution. I look forward to working with both OIT and the other representatives of TAP,” explains Reid.

“Cathy and Dan are both very capable individuals placed right into the thick of DocFinity efforts at BlueCross. Their input regarding administration and enterprise scalability discussions is especially valued,” states Jerry Cannie, OIT’s Vice President of Technology.

The panel is comprised of OIT customer and partner representatives including City of Madison (Wis.), Hershey Medical Center, Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Company, Hull & Co., Inc., The Pennsylvania State University, and Western & Southern Financial Group, among others.

Current co-conveners of the panel are Steve Mullins of The Ohio State University, Vijay Magon of OITUK Ltd, and Jerry Cannie of Optical Image Technology, Inc. Magon is from OIT’s partner in the United Kingdom, bringing an international voice to the group. Additionally, the panel consists of software analysts as well as officers and directors from within OIT.

TAP endeavors to encourage interaction between customers and developers in order to shape the direction of software products within the DocFinity suite. The group holds monthly telephone conferences as well as holding occasional meetings in person, and will convene at the DocFinity User Conference in State College on June 21, 2007.
