CBICC Presents Outstanding Technology Company of the Year Award to OIT
OIT Receives Award Second Year in a Row
STATE COLLEGE, Pa – February 18, 2005 – The Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County, CBICC, has awarded its “Outstanding Technology Company of the Year Award” to Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT) for its accomplishments in 2004. The awards ceremony took place at The Penn Stater Conference Center on Thursday, February 17th.
Awards were presented by the CBICC to recognize businesses and leaders in the community who have made a positive contribution and have had an impact on their industry. The award recipients were chosen by a membership vote of the CBICC’s nearly 900 members. Other awards included the Community Service Award, Small Business of the Year Award, and the Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award.
OIT’s Chief Operating Officer, Ron Prichard, accepted the award on behalf of the company. “OIT is very honored with this recognition for the second straight year. When we look at the other finalists and the quality of those companies, we are humbled,” Prichard said. “Though this is a technology award, we feel this really comes down to people. Serving our customers, and building quality relationships with them, is the real reason for such an award. We share this with our customers.”
