OIT Customer Improves Order Processing Time by 99% Utilizing XML FormFLOW

STATE COLLEGE, PA:  Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT), provider of award-winning enterprise content management solutions, plans to feature technology that has the ability to capture and workflow electronic business forms, while dramatically improving work order processing time, at Xplor International's Global Conference & Exhibit at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, October 30 through November 1 at Booth #1371.

With the recent rise of on-line business and e-commerce, companies need a simple, cost effective way to track orders throughout the organization.  OIT now offers an Electronic Design Form, known as "XML FormFLOW".  This web based e-form workflow of dynamically created XML documents uses WDDX to manipulate and store data.

This Electronic Design Form is completely compatible with any application and any industry.  The XML FormFLOW truly integrates with organizations' in-house systems to interactively pull data from them, push data back to those systems, and trigger workflows in the process.

Best of all, XML FormFLOW is easy to use!  Users are lead through the process of creating a form with a point and click interface, which pre-populates data fields automatically based on previous selections.  The form is integrated into the OIT repository upon completion and is printed by converting it to PDF using Adobe's Forms Data Format.

The new XML FormFLOW means no more paper is lost and no photocopying of order forms.  According to one customer who is already taking advantage of this leading edge technology, this module will help jobs get completed faster, keep information more organized, and reduce costs significantly.  "By implementing OIT's electronic form module, we have seen immediate, measurable results; we have already reduced our internal work order processing and distribution time from five and a half days to 14 minutes or less," comments Belinda Melanson of New England Business Service, Inc.

To arrange an appointment at Xplor 2001 with Scott Buchart, President of OIT, or Grier Yartz, Sales Manager of OIT to learn more about OIT's new XML FormFLOW, please contact Amanda Campbell at 814.238.0038 ext. 239.
