STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – December 5, 2007 – Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT) is pleased to announce the addition of six new staff members who will assist in the sales, quality assurance, development, and marketing of DocFinity® workflow and document management software solutions. Since July 2007, Catherine Bedrossian, Bryan Lynn, Erica Kotula, Greta Mertz, Trisha McKee, and Rick Winscot have joined the OIT team. They bring key attributes for furthering the development, support and awareness of the DocFinity suite.

Ron Prichard, president of Optical Image Technology, commented, "OIT is happy to welcome these six additional employees. We're experiencing rapid growth within the market. The increased staffing and new positions will help us to meet the increasing challenges from the industry." Optical Image Technology has increased staffing by 30 percent over the past year ̶ broadening the skill set and services that OIT can offer.

Catherine Bedrossian joined OIT’s sales team with the goal of helping to nurture and expand OIT’s customer base and Value-added Partner Channel on the west coast. She brings with her more than eight years of industry experience in solution sales. Her work primarily has been with organizations that seek to automate their business processes by implementing enterprise-wide electronic document and workflow management solutions.

Responsible for software testing, Bryan Lynn began his career with OIT as a quality assurance analyst for new product development. Bryan graduated from Laurel Highlands Community College in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information and Communications Technology. He brings with him five years of support and quality assurance experience from Siemens Health Services, along with experience leading the QA effort at Digital Solutions.

A graduate of Gannon University with bachelor’s degree in advertising/communications, Erica Kotula joined the OIT team as the public relations coordinator. Erica complements the marketing department with her previous experience in the industry. She has served as an advertising coordinator for a national catalog company, an account executive and copywriter with a full-service advertising agency, and a marketing coordinator for an umbrella company with interests across the board, including technology.

Greta Mertz joined OIT as the new user interface designer for the DocFinity software. She graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and earned her Web design degree from the International Academy of Design & Technology in Orlando, Florida. Greta’s eye for design and understanding of customer expectations will be valuable assets in the development of the next version of DocFinity.

A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in English, Trisha McKee joined OIT as a technical writer. Trisha has experience writing in a variety of styles and will be developing technical manuals for OIT’s DocFinity products. Previously, she spent time as a freelance writer before working as a technical writer for the military.

Rick Winscot joins OIT’s development department as part of the DocFinity software Flex front-end design team. Previously, Rick worked as a Flex platform architect and is currently working toward a Ph.D. in instructional psychology and technology. His design, coding, implementation, and maintenance of systems across many domains such as GIS/GPS, asset management, software distribution, and distance education/student management make him an excellent resource to the OIT team.
