Optical Image Technology Announces Version 9 Release of Two Enhanced Software Products
CDMS Products Enhance Reporting and Compliance Capabilities of the DocFinity Suite
STATE COLLEGE, Pa - February 28, 2006 - Optical Image Technology (OIT) is pleased to announce the Version 9 release of two products that enhance their award-winning DocFinity suite of Document Management and Workflow software. The products, which include DocFinity Dashboard/Statboard and DocFinity Reports, were developed by CDMS of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a long-term OIT business partner. They have new automated reporting and auditing capabilities that provide businesses with easy access to detailed reports and the knowledge they need to operate more effectively.
The main focus of the products is on automated workflow reporting, audit capabilities that meet stringent HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley legislative requirements, employee productivity and inventory reporting. The new release allows for highly customizable reports and charts that can be produced and accessed securely over the Internet, drawing from all of the data a company stores within the DocFinity electronic storage system.
Both products were substantially upgraded in the Fall of 2005 and installed at one of the world’s largest clinical laboratories in November, and are now available to all of Optical Image Technology’s customers. Perry Kurlander, Senior Partner of CDMS and lead developer of the products indicated that the main benefit to companies is “the robust reporting capabilities that provide business information in a user interface that can be customized to meet the client’s unique needs.”
