Optical Image Technology Improves Customer Service to the Insurance Industry
State College, Pa.- Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT) is pleased to announce the formation of the Insurance User Group to better serve its customers in the industry.
The group convened for the first time March 10, 2003 at the company’s annual User Conference, held in Nashville, Tenn. At the meeting, users were given the opportunity to exchange contact information and discuss what they'd like to see come out of the group.
Coupled with the formation of the Insurance User Group, OIT has developed new materials, all customer driven, to reflect the changing insurance industry. This includes new marketing materials, a complete re-write of the current insurance website and new case studies.
Jim Thumma, Senior Account Representative for OIT who specializes in the insurance industry, remarked, “We’ve always prided ourselves in being involved with our customers. OIT's product line has historically been built based on customer requests.” He continued, “At OIT, we have decided to take that relationship one step further in regards to our insurance customers, and create an environment for our clients to share ideas and insights with each other.”
Within the group, members will discuss their unique uses of the DocFinity® Suite of Products, comment on features and functionalities they’d like to see added and engage in an overall sharing of knowledge and visions on how to leverage installations.
Thumma comments, “I’m looking forward to listening to our customers' insights regarding the software, and working with our development team at OIT to make those comments a reality.”
He adds, "We have already added new features and functions based on our customers' input in the industry. Through the Insurance User Group, we hope to reflect our customers ideas regarding our software faster. This will not only help us better serve our current customers, but also provide software that will provide solutions to the many challenges faced by the insurance industry."
Based on the success and format of this group, OIT plans to develop similar groups for all its vertical markets.
Founded in 1986, Optical Image Technology, Inc. is committed to the development of cost effective electronic document management solutions and designing products that help its customers become more efficient and productive.
