Optical Image Technology VP of Sales and Marketing Selected to be an Outback Restaurant Bartender by 3WZ Radio for Local Charity

Centre Volunteers in Medicine Charity of Choice

STATE COLLEGE , Pa – July 17, 2006 – On July 19, Jim Thumma will test his bartending skills with tips going to charity. Outback Restaurant and 3WZ Radio Station are holding the 3WZ Turn the Tables on Your Boss event from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the State College Outback.

Jim Thumma , VP of Sales and Marketing for Optical Image Technology, will tend bar for one hour and donate his tips to Centre Volunteers in Medicine. Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) is a free, primary health care clinic for residents of Centre County who lack affordable health care and have no access to health insurance. Thumma chose this organization because he believes in the mission and that the organization is serving a vital need in the Centre Community.

“I am really looking forward to a fun evening and trying to get every single person I know to come out, join us, and donate to a great cause…Centre Volunteers in Medicine, “ said Thumma. “When I first heard about this event, I thought, ‘OK, this should be fun’….but the more I learned about Centre Volunteers in Medicine and what they do for this community, I felt an overwhelming desire to help. I implore everyone to come out and join us, and bring some tip money!”
