Optical Image Technology, Inc. Moves to Oakwood Centre
State College, PA. - Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT), a locally based electronic document management and information company, has relocated to 100 Oakwood Avenue in State College. The company has grown dramatically in the past few years, and the new location will enable them to better serve customer needs. A sharp growth in staff and an increased client base require larger customer training facilities and more customized space for operations. Pennsylvania-based firm Environmental Interiors, Inc. has been responsible for the redesign of the new offices, which are in the building locally known as the Philatelic Society.
OIT, which has been based in the State College area since 1986, has clients across the USA and internationally, including Mercer Insurance Group; Western & Southern Financial Group; American Health & Life Insurance, Inc.; The Ohio State University; Colgate-Palmolive Company; and BMI. Pennsylvania firms include Harleysville Mutual Insurance Company; various offices of The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and The Pennsylvania State University. OIT helps customers save time and reduce operational costs, and in some cases increase their customers’ revenue. Major local clients such as Penn State are model sites using the technology in diverse and groundbreaking ways, which draws other clients to the solutions offered by OIT while generating additional business in and publicity about the State College area when they visit these sites or engage in OIT training.
