Harold Hockman takes position with plans to expand and restructure professional services

STATE COLLEGE, Pa – April 25, 2005 – Optical Image Technology, Inc. is pleased to announce today that Harold Hockman has been appointed to the position of Director of Professional Services. Under Hockman’s direction, the department will be expanded not only in staff but also in services offered.

“I’m very excited to be moving into a role that focuses more on what is most important to us: our customers,” said Hockman. “As customers continue to integrate DocFinity® solutions throughout the enterprise, it's our goal as professional services to facilitate the best ROI that customers have come to expect with our software and services.”

Hockman brings a diverse background, technical skill set, and strong project management history to this position. He has significant experience working with clients to define specifications for custom features, solutions, and major system integration. He has spent eight years designing, developing and implementing products for OIT's DocFinity Suite. Prior to joining OIT, Hockman designed system solutions for The Pennsylvania State University Office of Human Resources and Office of Accounting Operations where he implemented OIT Products. Within the applications at Penn State, Hockman successfully managed the projects and trained his successors. He not only knows the DocFinity Suite from the OIT perspective, he also has been a customer and consultant applying the technology for specific business requirements.

In addition to appointing Hockman as director, OIT has also increased the department’s staff, and is broadening their focus to include more in-depth product training and more services for installation and upgrades. Professional Services extensively gathers requirements and performs high level analysis and assessments for software needs. They also design systems and specifications for custom software solutions, custom feature enhancements, and integrations. They will now also be offering documentation services that meet specific customer needs associated with the DocFinity Suite.

“As our customers do more with the DocFinity Products, as projects continue to take on more scope and integration requirements, we have identified the need to offer more manpower related to professional services, along with an expanded scope of services,” said Ron Prichard, Chief Operating Officer at OIT. “Now, under the direction of a highly qualified Director of Professional Services, OIT is positioned to deliver more value to our customers.”
