OIT Strengthens Sales Department with Three New Appointments

STATE COLLEGE, Pa - February 20, 2006 - Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT) recently expanded its sales team with three new sales account managers. Chuck Burkey, Allen Gavlak, and Michael King, all of whom are highly seasoned within the field of information technology, joined the company earlier this month.

The new sales positions reflect the continued growth of the company and its customers’ needs as well as the increasing need of companies for information technology in a variety of business sectors. The appointees all bring a wealth of experience in their respective fields that is expected to support the company’s rapid expansion and enable the company to continue to focus on top-quality service as the customer base grows.

Chief Operating Officer Ron Prichard stated, “We are very excited about the quality of people we are bringing into OIT to fill each of these positions. Their individual and collective experiences will enable us to offer the best possible service to our current and new customers and to continue to solve their business challenges successfully.”

Chuck Burkey comes to OIT from Comsquared Systems, Inc. in Norcross, Georgia, and has worked in sales, marketing, management and consulting in the document management field for the last 14 years. Allen Gavlak is a Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA), a certified Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and has worked in the area of document management as a consultant, engineer, and salesman. He joins OIT from IMR Digital Solutions in Harrisburg. Michael King, who recently returned from service in Iraq, has years of experience selling IT-based products and services within the LAN/WAN infrastructure, as well as wireless applications and services related to application development.
