Optical Image Technology Continues to Hire Staff for Its Technical Divisions

Technical Support and QA Teams Expand to Further Support Customers and Products

STATE COLLEGE, PA -- February 23, 2007 -- Optical Image Technology, creator of the DocFinity suite of enterprise workflow and document management software, is pleased to announce the hiring of three additional staff members to its technical departments. Elliot Deschamps, Technical Support Representative, and Ron Getgen and Tom Collins, Quality Assurance Analysts, are taking on the responsibility of ensuring client satisfaction by testing DocFinity products and providing customer support.

Elliot Deschamps joins the technical support department with an extensive background in customer support, computer programming, system support, and Web development. Prior to joining OIT, Deschamps worked as the webmaster for Lion Country Supply, where he not only managed their retail websites but also held general IT duties. For five years, he worked for a local and internationally known company as a network operations center supervisor, along with development and support positions. "I'm very glad to be a part of this dynamic organization and I am looking forward to working with a team of talented individuals," expresses Deschamps.

Prior to joining OIT, Ron Getgen was a system engineer for West Pharmaceutical Services, holding responsibilities such as developing a shop floor computer security system; designing and maintaining programs for medical equipment production; and working with the quality assurance and engineering departments to develop and implement hardware and software designs. Getgen also brings experience in computer networking and administration. His responsibilities at OIT include testing the DocFinity suite to ensure that the products are capable of addressing customers' business needs. Getgen is a University of Cincinnati graduate and holds a business administration degree. "Because the company is growing and advancing the DocFinity software, joining OIT when I did has proved to be a wonderful opportunity," states Getgen.

Also joining OIT as a quality assurance analyst, Thomas Collins brings a background of healthcare software and financial experience to the company. He worked at Siemens Health Services for ten years in several capacities including implementation, application integration, quality assurance, and software training. Collins also held management positions in the banking industry. "I am looking forward to contributing to the continued delivery of quality products to OIT costumers and also being a part of an exciting time in the growth of OIT," says Collins. He is a graduate of Lock Haven University and holds a B.S. degree in business management and is a volunteer for the Centre County Youth Service Bureau's "On The Fly" Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Tournament.

Deschamps, Getgen and Collins will provide input and expertise to the DocFinity suite of integrated document management products that are designed to provide paper-intensive businesses with cost savings and efficiency through effective automation.

Scott Buchart, company president, states, "OIT continues to invest in our products and services as we grow the company and product line. These staff additions will enable us to offer increasingly specialized services that will help our customers and, ultimately, our business." Ron Prichard, COO, adds, "Our goal is to attract quality people to the team and these three men exemplify that initiative."
