The first step toward optimizing efficiency

DocFinity’s Imaging module enables paper-centric documents—as well as documents in your electronic data collection that are stored in electronic format—to be stored in a central document repository. This electronic filing system provides a storage solution that is not unlike a computerized filing cabinet.  The DocFinity Web-based document imaging system enables you to capture documents, automate indexing, and access your digital content.

With the DocFinity document imaging module you can automate batch scanning; documents are scanned into batches so that they can be entered into the system. These electronic filing batches are similar to stacks of paper that organizations previously would file by hand, except that electronic imaging makes it significantly easier and faster to find information. There is no limit to the number of pages that can be scanned to a batch, and there is no limit to the number of batches that can be created. Multiple scan stations can be used to scan batches of documents; other stations are used to simultaneously index and retrieve those documents when they are needed.  Deploying an imaging and document management software system not only helps you reduce file storage.  Document imaging technology also helps you increase data accuracy, eliminate manual filing and indexing, and facilitate electronic file management.  It puts you on the road to true efficiency by connecting people to their documents and business information.

Our document scanning software makes the creation of document repositories, and ultimately retrieving documents, instantaneous and easy.  A full range of scanners, with either Twain or Kofax drivers, are supported. If you do not have a duplex scanner, but need to scan double-sided documents, the Imaging module can even simulate duplex batch scanning using a single-sided scanner. Direct-to-document scanning is also supported.

Document capture with digital imaging and document archiving software is just the beginning:  to find what you need, documents must be indexed. DocFinity organizes them into the system in the same way that documents would logically be filed. The software offers automated indexing solutions such as Barcode indexing as well our PowerIndexing application.
