The Need

For users who need to manage or validate a high volume of routine documents such as HCFA, UB-04, and UB-92 forms, the ability to retrieve, view, act, and move on to the next document with as few clicks as possible is instrumental to efficient processing. Unfortunately, the number of clicks required to access and process claims and billing forms can sometimes compromise productivity. DocFinity® QuickQueue lets users progress rapidly from one form to the next so that work can continue smoothly and without interruption. When forms are incomplete for any reason, exception handling allows them to be routed with a single click for further processing.quickqueue screenshot

The DocFinity Solution

DocFinity QuickQueue, an add-on to the Workflow, module, provides a much more efficient means of processing HCFA, UB-04, and UB-92 forms, as well as similar documents. Users view jobs directly, one after another. Hot keys can be configured to allow users to advance to the next screen with a single keystroke, providing faster, improved navigation and eliminating the need for repetitive mouse clicks. The document, image, or page appears immediately. Users no longer have to open a task list in order to retrieve a document. A single key launches QuickQueue, at which point all documents in a queue can be viewed directly, one after the other. Exceptions can be denoted with a single keystroke, so that work can continue uninterrupted.

How It Works

Hot key settings make the work accessible right away. After viewing a document and keying in anything that is needed, a user can hit a hot key that asks if s/he wants to access the next item. The document appears on the screen immediately. No extra mouse clicks are needed to move from document to document. When users are ready to complete a displayed job, they simply click the “Next Task” button which, after a confirmation prompt, allows them to proceed to the next job. This results in easier viewing and faster processing.

When forms are incomplete for any reason, exception handling allows them to be routed with a single click for further processing. Whether they are missing a signature, missing a name, or need further attention for a reason that is specific to a particular business, users simply choose the reason for exception from a drop-down list. Workflow is triggered behind the scenes to electronically route the exception to an appropriate recipient for processing. The drop-down list is entirely configurable, allowing your organization to designate who should receive which exceptions for further processing. Users can move on to the next job with a single keystroke, facilitating more efficient processing of information.

Key Features
